Established in 1965, Bernice's Tavern is a beloved dive bar in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood. Family-owned since 1951, this historic establishment is now operated by Steve and Mike Badauskas, sons of the namesake Bernice. Tracing its roots back to the late 1880s, it stands as one of the oldest bars in Bridgeport and one of Chicago's most history-steeped dive bars.
