About Carol's Pub

Carol's Pub is Chicago's beloved honky-tonk dive bar located at 4659 N Clark St in the Uptown neighborhood. Originally opened in 1973 by Ted Harris and later taken over by his wife Carol, this legendary establishment has become a cornerstone of Chicago's live music scene. After closing briefly in 2016, Carol's reopened in 2018 under new ownership, preserving its authentic country bar charm while upgrading amenities.
